Modelyear: the daily car guessing game
Every day Modelyear shows five photos of real cars, from Model Ts and muscle cars to modern hatchbacks, pickups and supercars. For each one you pick the make and model and set the model year. Get the model right and the year within two and you earn a green square. Get the model but miss the year and it's yellow. Get only the make and it's orange.
When you're done you get a row of five squares to text to friends, like Wordle. A new puzzle starts at midnight, there's an archive of earlier days, and you don't need an account to play. The photos come from Wikimedia Commons under free licenses, credited after each guess.
